Center for Gender and Women Studies (CGWS)

The CGWS conducts activities to promote awareness and understanding of gender issues in the health sciences and social sciences; makes available programs and courses on gender, their health and development, and gender perspectives for the health sector; contributes modules that will mainstream gender studies in the existing curricula of UP Manila, specifically those related to health sciences; and collaborates with other health science centers of learning toward the development of a common plan of action for engendering the health sector.
