I do not have a Zoom account. What should I do?

I do not know how to use a Zoom account. What should I do?

• Please refer to the Zoom FAQs document that we have provided (applicable to approved registered participants only). 

• You may also watch and follow the Zoom video tutorials.

Zoom is not working. What should I do?

• Please restart or use another device.

I only received the Zoom link once. What should I do?

• The Zoom meeting link, meeting ID, and meeting passcode are the same for the entirety of the course.

I can’t unmute myself. What should I do?

• Participants are muted by default. Only the hosts of the meeting can unmute themselves and the participants. All are encouraged to turn on their videos during the start and at the end of the sessions. The Organizing Committee will also request participants to turn on their videos from time to time for attendance-checking purposes.

I have a question but I cannot unmute myself. What should I do?

• Participants can type in their questions in the chat box and the hosts will relay their questions to the speakers. Only a limited number of questions per session will be entertained. Only questions related to the topic at hand will be relayed to the speaker. The rest of the questions are noted to be relayed to the next speakers.

Can I record the session?

• Each session is recorded by the Organizing Committee for documentation purposes. 

• Recordings are only available for viewing 48 hours after the conclusion of each session. Downloading of recordings is strictly prohibited.

Can I perform other activities such as cooking or driving while attending the course?

• No, please refrain from doing potentially dangerous activities (such as cooking or driving) while attending the course for your own safety. Participants are advised to refrain from discussing unrelated topics while the session is ongoing. They may continue their private discussion during the break. Participants are expected to observe proper decorum all throughout the course (wear proper attire and be respectful with each other)

Can I eat or go to the restroom during the session?

• You can have a snack break and a bathroom break during the session.

How many times do I need to complete the pre-test?

• The pre-test shall be accomplished only once before the start of the course. Another test, the post-test, shall be administered before the end of the course.

Is there a passing score for the pre and post-tests?

• There is no passing score requirement for both the pre and post-test. However, participants are expected to have higher post-test scores compared to their pre-test scores.
