Project Concept Statement
For this project, I will collaborate with my coursemate, Unicharmed V. Duran to create a narrative podcast episode. We have chosen to produce an original script titled "So Happy 2gether" written by Unicharmed. Our motivation for this project stems from our shared interests. This format allows us to explore storytelling through audio, combining voice acting with sound design to create an immersive experience for listeners.
The production will involve:
1. Voice acting - Unicharmed and I will take on primary roles in the narration.
2. Additional casting - We plan to invite a friend to voice the remaining characters, adding depth to the production.
3. Sound design - We'll incorporate appropriate audio elements to enhance the storytelling experience.
Project Plan
This project plan outlines the timeline and key milestones for the production of our narrative podcast "So Happy 2gether". The plan covers all phases of production from pre-production through uploading. Our goal is to efficiently manage our time and resources while allowing enough flexibility for creative exploration and refinement. The following timetable details our major tasks and their allocated timeframes, guiding us from initial preparation to the final publication of our podcast.
*note that this schedule is tentative and may be adjusted depending on our availability and unforeseen circumstances. We will strive to adhere to this timetable as closely as possible to ensure the best possible outcome for our project.
Logistics
Recording Locations:
We plan to use both our houses for recording sessions. This offers flexibility and familiar environments for our voice recording.
Unicharmed's House:
Recording space - Unicharmed's bedroom
Acoustic management - We'll close the window to reduce external noise. Soft furnishings like curtains will be used to reduce echo and improve sound quality.
My House:
Recording space - My room
Acoustic management - To minimize external noise, we'll close the sliding door leading to the terrace. Soft furnishings and curtains will also be used to reduce echo and improve overall sound quality.

Mixing and mastering will primarily take place in my room, maintaining the acoustic treatments used during recording. To ensure data security, all recordings and project files will be backed up on both the computer and an external hard drive. For our remote collaboration, we plan to use Google Meet, Zoom, or Facebook Messenger for communication and file sharing.
