CONSTRUCTIVE ALIGNMENT
To align teaching and learning activities with assessment, follow the constructive alignment approach:
Identify the desired learning outcomes: Begin by identifying the specific and measurable learning outcomes that align with your course goals.
Design learning and teaching activities: Based on the intended learning outcomes, design learning and teaching activities that are aligned with your subject area and student needs. Use a range of effective teaching and learning strategies, such as group work, discussions, case studies, and simulations, to engage your students and achieve the intended learning outcomes.
Develop assessment methods: Develop a variety of assessment methods, such as essays, exams, presentations, and projects, that align with the intended learning outcomes and the learning and teaching activities.
