What does it mean to be "healthy"?

Health can mean something different to everyone. We all come from different backgrounds and experiences. Many of us have different needs to be cared for in different ways.

Below are common themes we found when we interviewed you and asked, “What impacts your health?” As you flip through photos and read each section, learn about all the different ways others stay healthy.

Thank you for participating in Photovoice with us. We enjoyed our time talking with you and learned so much from you all.

After you look through the website, we'd love to hear your thoughts!

The Nourish & Flourish Photovoice and Conversation Guides Project incorporates the voices of individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Participants for this project are community support program (CSP) staff and members. Several principles guide our work together including: Equity, Holistic Health, Community-Centered, Relationship-Driven, Participatory Processes, and Engagement. This project connects mental flourishing with other aspects of health and healthy lifestyles to co-create with the participants and CSP staff healthy lifestyle resources.
