Found in the Bell Museum of Natural History records are a number of Minnesota Ornithology files on bird species . Material includes correspondence from locals, which documents their bird sightings through a photograph or in this case, a drawing. Sightings span from the pelican to the American vulture, and include species of pigeons, owls and hummingbirds. Thanks to this local, we are able to learn more on the Least Tern species from the family Laridae spotted at Spring Lake in Dakota County, Minnesota.
