A Trip to Voyageur's

Dr. Guy E. Gibbon, a professor within the Department of Anthropology, performed consultant jobs for the Minnesota Historical Society throughout his career, as an archaeological surveyor of certain areas within Minnesota.

In the 1960s through the 1980s, Gibbon surveyed Voyageur's National Park in International Falls, Minnesota in order to seek out remains of prehistoric societies who inhabited the area.

Among their core work, Gibbon also documented the trip through photographs - enjoy the following images of a Minnesota summer up north!
