Humphrey school has many different ways to get involved in equity and inclusion efforts more locally. From the equity and inclusion council to multiple student groups focused on shared identities, this website demonstrates the many ways to get involved.

For students who are the first in their family to go to college, graduate school may be even more challenging to navigate. The First Gen Institute has resources specifically for graduate students on how to navigate their graduate education. Make sure to sign up for their monthly newsletter the First-Gen Forecast to stay up to date on all of the resources and events for First-Gen students.
The DRC supports students, staff, and faculty with disabilities in getting the accommodations needed to facilitate access in courses and work experiences. Students can meet with an access assistant virtually or in person (on East Bank Campus) to explore options.
Gender and Sexuality Center for Queer and Trans Life - Hosted through the Office of Equity and Diversity, the GSC provides programming and resources to support LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and faculty on campus.
Gender-Neutral Restroom Map - Identifies all of the gender-neutral restrooms located on campus.
Eli Coleman Institution for Sexual and Gender Health - Hosted through the Medical Schools department of Family Medicine and Community Health the Eli Coleman Institution supports sexual and gender health through research, advocacy, and clinical practice
The Circle of Indigenous Nations supports Native American/Alaska Native and First Nations students at the University of Minnesota through programming and resources.
The Graduate School Diversity Office (GDSO) supports graduate students who have historically been excluded from graduate education.
Hosted by the International Student and Scholar Services office, the small world coffee hour (hosted twice per month during the fall and spring semester) offers an opportunity for students and staff from all over the world to connect with one another.
Supporting gender equity across campus the Women's Center offers workshops, resources and advocacy along with limited awards and scholarships to help promote gender equity.
EOT offers students, staff, and faculty the opportunity to report discrimination based on protected characteristics and work with someone in that office to address this through either formal or informal means.
