Some students may want to augment their education by adding a complementary minor to their field of study. Graduate minors tend to be 6-9 credits and doctoral minors must be a minimum of 12 credits. Students can explore the graduate minor options offered throughout the university on the Program Catalog website. Students who decide to add a minor can use the minor declaration form found on the OneStop website. The same form can be used to remove a minor. Student can declare or remove minors at any point throughout their studies.*
Humphrey offers four graduate minors. More information about coursework needed to meet these minor requirements can be found on the Humphrey Website.
*PhD students must declare their major prior to sitting for their preliminary oral examination.
