Once students have registered, and do not plan to change registration, for their final semester of coursework, please follow the steps below to ensure timely processing of your degree. *If you change your registration after you have completed these steps, please email hhhcss@umn.edu to ensure the necessary edits are made to your degree plan.*
Gather any documentation for course substitutions or individualized concentration approvals that may be applicable.
Complete your Program Planning Worksheet (PPW) with all of the coursework needed to fulfill your degree requirements. Once completed, have your faculty advisor sign off on this and return it to you.
Send completed PPW, individualized concentration form (if applicable), and course substitution approvals (if applicable) to hhhcss@umn.edu by the deadline provided to you by email.
Submit your GPAS. For instructions on submitting your GPAS, please visit the OneStop GPAS Instructions Website. Note: Students DO NOT need to add any courses to their GPAS, it automatically pulls any courses that they have registered for. We will manually adjust courses to match what is on their PPW. Just simply click submit.
Once CSS has approved your GPAS, you will get an email notification that you are eligible to apply for graduation. Please see the OneStop Graduation Steps website for information and instructions on how to apply for graduation. Please note, that there are timelines for when you should apply to graduate based on when you are planning on finishing up any final requirements. Those deadlines can be found here. Common graduation application timelines are below:
May graduation - Apply between April 2 and May 1
August graduation - Apply between July 2 and August 1
December graduation - Apply between November 2 and December 1
