The CBCC's Employer Relations Team works hard to create partnerships with employers and bring quality opportunities to students. Below are a number of the ways recruiting happens at Minnesota Carlson.
On-Campus Recruitment (OCR) is a structured hiring process where large employers plan ahead, often months to a year in advance, and work with our career center to post jobs and host information sessions.
MBA Students (from the FTMBA, PTMBA, OMBA and CEMBA programs):
Full-time roles: Interviews take place on campus in late September and October for students in their final academic year.
Internships: Interviews occur in late January and February for summer internships starting in June.
*Please note, PTMBA/OMBA/CEMBA students must complete the Greenlight program to be eligible for On Campus Recruitment.
M-HRIR Students:
Most full-time and internship interviews happen in the Fall (September-October), with limited opportunities in the Spring.
3M, Accenture, Amazon.com, Boston Consulting Group, Boston Scientific, Coloplast, Deloitte, Dish, Eaton, Ecolab, General Mills, Honeywell, Johnson & Johnson, Land O’Lakes, McKinsey, Medtronic, Target, Optum, and UnitedHealth Group.
Go to the "Jobs" section in Handshake using the left menu to view all job opportunities, including those not interviewing on campus. Use the filters to refine your search and save it for easy access later.
When employers want to connect with students directly, the CBCC shares a custom resume book based on their needs such as skills, industry interest, or location. To be included, keep your default resume in Handshake updated.
The Employer Relations team in the career center connects with employers to source opportunities for their hiring needs, which are posted in Handshake under "Jobs." Custom resume books are also shared based on the job description and criteria, which is another reason to keep your default resume in Handshake updated.
