OPT/CPT Workshop for International Students: For students who will need H1B sponsorship need to begin filing for OPT (Optional Practical Training), the status that allows you to work in the US for a year after you graduate. Make sure you understand the timeline, the choices you can make within the timeline, and the implications of various choices. We will also cover general information about CPT. (February 5, 2021)
Information sessions are held during fall and spring semesters and are a great way for you to learn about organizations, career paths, and available positions.
Organizations partner with student organizations and the CBCC to coordinate company site visits to get a better idea of the organization, its culture, facilities, and employees.
The Greenlight Program is a requirement for any part-time MBA/OMBA/HRIR, CEMBA, or part-time MS-program students who would like to participate in on-campus recruiting (OCR)
The CBCC organizes, plans, and schedules site visits and alumni events in various cities throughout the year to help connect students with specific organizations in targeted geographic regions. Previous student treks led by the CBCC have been to San Francisco, Seattle, and New York. Treks are a great way to get a feel for specific cities and help connect you with contacts and alumni in those designated regions.
Attend a CBCC sponsored event and look for updates regarding new events in newsletters or in Handshake under "Events." The CBCC hosts various events throughout the school year, providing you with opportunities to interact with students in a more casual way.
