UCard and Nursing ID Badge

The UCard identifies you as a student, staff or faculty member of the Twin Cities campus. The first card is free and can be obtained at the UCard office at Coffman Union. Bring your driver's license, state ID or passport and be prepared to have your picture taken. Replacement cards may require a $25 fee.

As an Academic Health Center student, a Nursing ID Badge is required when in the practicum setting. The ID badge is also obtained through the UCard office. Students will be prompted to pick up their badge just prior to the start of their first practicum course. If you misplace/lose your Nursing ID Badge, contact son-oap@umn.edu in the School of Nursing to obtain an official letter documenting your enrollment for the UCard office.
