In the past years, the discovery of novel polyomaviruses has expanded greatly with the advancement in cloning and sequencing methods. This has created the need for an integrated resource with information about all discovered Polyomaviruses. This Polyomavirus Episteme, created by the Imperiale Lab at the University of Michigan, serves as a curated resource that includes known taxonomic, genomic and clinical information.
