Experts

One of the most important aspects of a consensus conference is to give the community panelists access to as many sources of knowledge as possible. This is critical for both their understanding of the topic under study and their ability to give advice to policy makers that reflects the diverse values and views of their community.

The organizers are therefore interested in finding experts and stakeholders that can provide knowledge and perspectives on water security topics and how they impact Washtenaw County residents. We are in need of a broad range of such experts and stakeholders, such as academics who study water use and economics, activists who work on water security issues, farmers who rely on clean water access, and industry groups that use large quantities of water.

These are just examples - if you feel that you have some knowledge to contribute to our Water Security Consensus Conference, please get in touch with us at the email address below!
