I am the Family Resource Center Manager. I run a team that helps families connect to different resources they may need. I mostly spend my days in meetings and visiting with different families, as well as getting funding and advocating for our team.
I felt honored and recognized for my work when I was personally asked by Carrie Casey, the current President of the Delaware Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, to sit at the round table with the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to talk about our program and represent the CEB.
My colleagues might not be able to tell that I am pretty shy because I am very determined in everything that I do. But I usually get really nervous and actually experience a lot of anxiety before certain events!
I am a mother of three. I was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey and moved to Delaware in 2018. I hold a degree in Criminal Mind and Behavior from Strayer University and first set sights on supporting families in underprivileged communities when I started working for Volunteer of America Re- Entry program. My work here as the CEB Family Resource Center Manager allows me to follow my passion of providing families from any walk of life with the resources to succeed.
I’m very passionate about helping families in need and I don't take no for an answer. If there is not a way to help them, I will figure out a way.
