Hello, @everyone! I am more than happy to announce our upcoming Community Initiative that’ll get your collaborative spirit going: our very own Students’ Council! :meow_attention:

The Students’ Council will include three leaders:

A projects mentor

An industry expert

An events’ coordinator

You can now respond to this thread by nominating yourself for the student council and then become one of our awesome leaders in this community.

Tasks needed from each leader:

Projects Mentor: you will be responsible for sharing resources, giving tips, hosting Slack events when needed to support your peers with their projects. :female-teacher::skin-tone-4:

Industry Expert: you will be able to share tips and resources as well and your peers may refer to you to ask industry-related questions or to seek help with career advice queries. :computer:

Events’ Coordinator: you will get the chance to brainstorm, suggest, and create your very own Community initiatives and events that will boost our community’s doses of awesomeness! :partying_face:

Reply to this thread with :briefcase: if you want to nominate yourself for the Projects Mentor role, :computer: for the Industry expert role, and :partying_face: for the Events’ Coordinator role. A voting round will take place next Monday, 25th of July.

Hey, @everyone! :wave::skin-tone-3: We are super excited to announce that we will be hosting our first online Community live event next Tuesday August 2nd, 2022 @5:30pm New York time. This event will consist of fun ice-breakers, engaging conversations, and it’ll be an awesome opportunity for all of us to get to see each other live on camera! :party_blob:
