"Sharing stories brings people together."

  • Yes, we are calling for Student Stories! And we want to offer this initiative as an opportunity for you to share your story, including both the wins and the losses that ultimately led you here and what you hope to do with your new found skills!


  • Every student that submits their story will have a chance at being featured on the Citi Community Site. Additionally, the top stories will be shared with the Citi Scholarship team & will be featured on the Udacity website.✨✨


How do I Submit my Story? 📝


4 Simple Steps to Submit your Story!

✅ Step 1. Access the official Student Stories Challenge Form >> HERE!

  • The form closes for submission on October 31st, 11:59pm EST.

If you've submitted your story for another Scholarship program, please submit your story again for this one!

  • Sharing your story will count towards Community Participation 🙌

✅ Step 2. Tell us in 200 - 600 words!

  • Who were you in the past? And who are you today as a result of your past?

  • What obstacles or difficulties (big or small!) did you face, and how did that inform the person you are today?

  • What led you to the Citi Scholarship Program?

  • And, who do you hope to be in the future as a result of this scholarship program?

✅ Step 3. Attach a photo of yourself (or a photo of something that represents or inspires you) in the form.


✅ Step 4. Sign the Consent Form

  • 
We’ll need your consent in case the Udacity team would like to share your story through our blog posts and social media accounts.

  • You will be prompted to fill out a Consent Form towards the end of the Student Stories Challenge Form

  • Follow the given instructions (given in the original form itself) to sign the Consent Form.

Click Submit, and you're done!


What happens next?

  • October 31st - The Student Stories Challenge Form closes for submissions at 11:59 PM EST ⏰

  • November 2nd- Scholarship team nominates the top student stories for YOU to vote for your favorites!

  • November 3rd through November 7th - Community voting takes place! 🗳

  • Wednesday, August 20th- Five stories with the most votes are revealed during the End of Program Party! These stories will be shared with Udacity & Citi Scholarship team.

Q. What is the Consent Form? Why am I required to fill the consent form?

A. The Consent Form is a way through which you allow us to share your story with a wider audience. We would like to share some of the stories collected through this challenge with the Udacity Marketing team. We need your consent in case our Marketing team would like to share your story through our blog posts and social media accounts.

Q. How can I fill the Consent Form?

A. The link to the Consent Form and the instructions to fill it are mentioned towards the end in the Student Stories Challenge Form itself.

Q. I am not sure if I have submitted the Student Stories Challenge Form? Is there a way I can check this?

A. If you have submitted the Student Stories Challenge Form, you would have received a copy of your form responses on the email address you mentioned in the form. You can check for the form response in your inbox to be sure of whether or not you have submitted the form.

Q. What is Community Voting?

A. Top stories selected by the Community Team will be released on November 2nd to the Community and then all the scholars will be able to vote for their favorite stories. Based on the community voting, top 5 stories will be decided!
