PROJECT DEADLINES

IMPORTANT!

  1. Except for the updated final deadline (November 14), these dates are not obligatory ("soft deadlines") – but highly recommended to be able to graduate on time.
  2. The dates in your Classroom may slightly vary, so do not be alarmed if you see dates that are approximately +/- 2 days on either end.
  3. For FEND students, the dates in your Classroom are different from these, as they are meant for the general Nanodegree program, and not for the Scholarship. Please stick to our suggested dates, and not to the ones in your Classroom.
  4. If you are inactive and falling behind (including first project submission) for the initial weeks of your Nanodegree scholarship, you may lose your scholarship.
  5. Project deadlines are when the project should be approved by. Please note: many project reviews come back within 1-2 days but can take up to 1-2 weeks. Please account for this timeline when planning your studies.

Check below deadline tables for additional information....

Additional information:

  • Your program has a finite start (April 24, 2018) and end date – (November 14, 2018 [updated] ). If you don't know when your deadlines are, don't worry. Just look above, or check your classroom.
  • Because of this approval period, it is strongly suggested (*wink wink nudge nudge*) you give yourself personal deadlines in advance of the real deadline. Please consider that within this six month timeframe it’s important to budget your time to both finish projects and have them evaluated for feedback.
  • We also strongly recommend submitting one project at a time. In other words, do not submit a second project until you’ve received feedback on all previously submitted projects.

These deadlines are there to help you to complete the Nanodegree program on time. While you won't be penalized for missing a deadline, doing so is a slippery slope that usually leads to many students becoming overwhelmed with the workload and not completing the course on time.
