Some small changes have been made to the app regarding the UV exposure:
App now not only shows maximum UV values, but also current values.
So the "phototype-diagnosis" makes more sense, we now display the time it would take (in minutes) to burn at the CURRENT UV VALUE if you are from certain phototypes if you don't protect yourself. This values won't be shown if it is currently night time at the requested city, where instead we will remind the user it is night time so going outside is safe FROM A UV RAY EXPOSURE PERSPECTIVE.
Once you check radiation levels, you get a notification giving you tips (based on US EPA) according to the maximum UV value of the day.
Notification example.
Seeing that people liked the design, we opted to generally keep it as it was. We are also keeping the small hole so our product can be used as a keyring.
However, we opted for a more simple, clean and effective way the use can use his own sunscreen, using bags that contain the towels, being able to insert the sunscreen in them and mixing it that way. That's why the hole on the side is no longer there.
The idea is for this bags to be sold separately, this way the user doesn't have to buy the product again and just worries in buying the wipes. This is enviromentally friendly as well as we would be evading unnecesary accumulation of said containers.
Also, a modification was made to the lids, now consisting in two parts:
A bigger, first lid. This is put with pressure to the container (aka just pushing with your hand). It has a cross shape to be able to pull the towels, and this also makes some of the sunscreen to be squeezed downwards. This way we are able to waste the least possible amount of sunscreen. This lid needs to be taken out and taken back in for the wipes refill.
Second, smaller lid, is useful to cover and protect the design. It can be inserted in the small hole at the bigger lid, and allows to compress the wipes so that these can absorb the sunscreen in a better way.
