Raspberry PI kits for boot camp

Buy an RPI starter kit that gives you an RPI, a box, a power adaptor, and an SD card. I recommend:

• Vilros RPI3 basic starter kit
• A 32GB micro SD card (if you get it with the deal at ~$10), or any SD card that is at least 8 GB and class 10.

Then, for the boot camp, buy at least one of the following two kits, depending on whether you want to play with the camera or with buttons, LEDs, and twitter:

• Camera. There are two models out right now: the older 5MP model and the newer 8MP module. The 5MP model is a bit easier to use (no need for a firmware upgrade), but the newer one is reputedly better. Buy one of:
• 5MP camera module from Adafruit or Amazon
  • 8MP camera module from Adafruit or Amazon
• GPIO kit.
  • Buy a kit with at least a button, a LED + resistor, a breakout board, and a breakout connector, such as this one.
