I did not assign homework today, as I did not get as far ahead as I thought I would on describing the structure of an Android application. In the next class, we will go over once more the structure of an application, describing the Manifest in more detail. We will then explore how to build the UI for an activity in XML.
I suggest that for the next class you install the Android SDK, Eclipse, etc, as detailed below. If you wish, bring the laptop to class, so you can follow the explanation and try to build some UI in real-time.
