The Union County Public Schools Behavior Support Team
is a combined effort between the Exceptional Children's Department, MTSS, and the Department of Student Support. The team supports students with behavioral and emotional needs in all UCPS school buildings. The team conducts support consultations, training opportunities, and additional support for school teams in all things behavior-related.

Behavior is a form of communication.
Building positive relationships with students is essential for student success, especially to reduce challenging behavior.
PreK-12 educators/staff must teach expectations and cannot assume that students already know them.
