To qualify to run for the NRHH Executive Board, you must have been an NRHH member for at least one (1) semester. The positions on the executive board are located below:
President:
Chair all general body, special, and executive board meetings
Review and ensure the constitution is updated, accurate, and carried out
Appoint any ad hoc committees, ad hoc committees chairs, and/or ad hoc positions, if necessary, and with consent of the NRHH executive board
Meet weekly, or as seen fit, with the NRHH advisor
Serve as the NRHH liaison to the Housing Leadership Committee
Serve as the NRHH liaison to USHA general body meetings
Coordinate the application and nomination processes for the NRHH and USHA Alumni Association (NUAA)
Serve as the coordinator for recruitment, and engagement of active members
Executive Vice President:
Act in the capacity of the President in their absence
Serve as the liaison between the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), the Midwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (MACURH), and the University of Central Missouri’s National Residence Hall Honorary
Attend MACURH chats as the NRHH Representative, and to fulfill the duties within MACURH and NACURH, outlined in the Moo Crew training manual
Maintain an accurate listing of all members, including past membership
Keep an up-to-date and accurate account of the NRHH budget. Approve a yearly budget, in conjunction with the NRHH Advisor(s), and present it to the General Body for approval
Create agendas and distribute minutes to the appropriate individuals
Director of Recognition:
Coordinate goals, objectives, and initiatives of the recognition committee
Chair all recognition committee meetings
Serve as the OTM Chairperson, and receive, vote, and distribute campus OTM awards on a monthly basis
Oversee education about OTMs, creating an account, voting and selections process, how to author them, and so on
Encouraged to work with the USHA Director of Recognition and Service, and the USHA Recognition and Service Committee
Encouraged to apply for the MACURH/NACURH OTM Selections Committee(s)
Work with the President in the NUAA application and nomination processes
Director of Service:
Coordinate goals, objectives, and initiatives of the service committee
Chair all service committee meetings
Encouraged to work with the USHA Director of Recognition and Service, and the USHA Recognition and Service Committee
Update all NRHH social media outlets, unless otherwise delegated
Encouraged to apply for the MACURH Recognition and Service Engagement Committee
