The United Student Housing Association (USHA) aims to create a positive, holistic community through leadership opportunities, social-traditional and innovative programming efforts, recognition and service, regional and national involvement, and residential advocacy.
Benefits of being involved in housing leadership: meet others in your community, be an important part of campus traditions, take pride in being an active member of YOUR community, have a say in how YOUR money is spent, be the voice of students like yourself, and more!
USHA meets weekly on Wednesdays at 4:00pm CT in the basement of Houts/Hosey (WCRL). USHA meetings are available in a hybrid style (in person and virtual), via our discord server: https://discord.gg/vptTjs8ZD9. There is a "General Body Meeting" voice channel to join. First, you must accept the rules of the server and become a verified member before gaining access to the full server. If you are a member of FUSHA (Friend of USHA), Community Advisor (CA), or Advisor, please contact the USHA Executive Director at ushapresident@ucmo.edu to gain access to the full server.

Dear Residents of UCM,
I have been privileged to have been apart of USHA since my freshman year, and joined on August 28, 2018. I do not regret my decision of joining this organization, which I started as the hall council president of Nattinger-Bradshaw. My favorite memories have been getting to attend regional and NACURH (national) conferences, presenting legislation and creating initiatives in housing and for UCM, lobbying Missouri senators, promoting programs, social and civic engagement, recognizing outstanding leadership, and most importantly, serving the students of UCM.
USHA is a student governance organization, similar to that of the Student Government Association (SGA), and in this year as Executive Director of USHA, I promise that I will be realistic, honest, compassionate, enthusiastic, relatable, and dependable. I am here to serve you as a resource, and someone to advocate on your behalf, and on behalf of all of student leaders in USHA. I created this website in the hope, and aspiration, that students and residents alike will use this as a tool to find all the information and resources necessary for your success in student housing leadership.
Let me know how I can best serve you, and wish you all the best in your academic and co-curricular involvements,
Dawson Davis
USHA Executive Director 2021-2022

Reviews from members of USHA:
"I joined Housing Leadership because of the opportunity to engage, interact, and advocate for my fellow students in the residence halls. The incredible advisors, networking, civil and social experiences are one-of-a-kind; and I would not be where I am today without all the friends that [have] heavily impacted my life within USHA and NRHH." -Dawson Davis, current USHA Executive Director, previous Midwest Associate Director for Administration and Finance
"Housing Leadership has given me the opportunity to find and define my passion and give me life long friends. I also joined housing leadership because I wanted to get involved and I stuck with it because it gave me a meaningful purpose on campus." -Alex Davis, former USHA Executive Director, current Midwest Coordinating Officer for RHA Development
"USHA is a great on-campus organization that helps students have a voice when it comes to Residential Hall affairs. With the welcoming atmosphere and caring nature, USHA makes the residence halls feel like Home." -Dajha Adams, former NRHH Representative and Community Advisor
"USHA works hard to provide students with events, resources, and a sense of community where all students are welcome." -Corey Burroughs, former USHA President

"I love being involved in USHA because I’ve been able to help lead others, meet new friends, and be apart of a group. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone being involved in USHA which helped me become more outgoing and confident." -Bri Meier, former USHA Associate Director of Regional Communications
"I love being a part of USHA because I get to make a difference in people's lives. USHA is a very special organization due to its inclusive nature and family like environment." -Kory Honey, current USHA Director of Campus Programming and current NRHH Director of Service
