Undungeon is a short dungeon crawler made for the 2019 Game Jam at UC Irvine with the theme lose to win. To go with this theme, we decided to make a game about losing levels in order to complete the game. Instead of trying to kill enemies to level up, the player must avoid killing them and take damage in order to win. For this game, I designed and programmed the enemy behavior and attacks, along with the player movement.
Designer:
I designed 5 different enemies, including their behavior and attacks.
I created the concept behind the game including the overall goal of taking damage until the player gets low enough level to win.
Programmer:
I programed 5 different enemy types, along with their movement and attack patterns.
I helped program the level layout, such as the scene transitions and dialogue.
