Sea Turtle Rescue is a exploration game made for the 2020 Global Game Jam at UC Irvine, with the theme repair. Play as a mother sea turtle as they try to save her children before they die to trash. I worked on level design and also did the programming for all of the wildlife found within the game.
Designer:
I came up with the overall design of the cave, including how it should be split up into different areas and how the locations visually differ from each other.
I designed the entity behavior and the locations where they are found within the cave.
I created the core concept of the game, including the win and lose condition of finding all of the baby turtles before they die.
Programmer:
I programed the large variety of wildlife behavior found within the game.
I helped with the programming of the character controller and the behavior of the baby sea turtles.
