A core service of Technologies in Education is to support the professional development of faculty and staff in their use of educational technology. We do this primarily through individual and small group consultations and coaching. This approach allows us to respond to the individual needs of a wide variety of technology users, from novice to advanced. Whether your question is broad (how do I integrate technology into my classroom?) or specific (how does a specific tool or piece of software work and how can it help me teach my class?), we can provide you with what you need to develop your professional use of technology.
We also provide group training upon request - just find three people (faculty and staff) who want training on a topic and we'll schedule and design a workshop customized to your needs.
While you are welcome to drop-by during our public hours, due to scheduling, the best way to contact us for a consultation is by emailing us to schedule an appointment. We recommend giving us at least one week’s notice when possible. Appointments can be in-person or online via Google Meet/Zoom.
