Affair of the Heart (AOTH) is a charity and event held by medical students from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Affair of the Heart hosts a yearly charity banquet and gala in support of local children’s charities. In addition, the gala also celebrates the successes of our exceptional medical faculty. The event is organized, promoted, and hosted by the Affair of the Heart executive committee, comprised entirely of medical students! Popular amongst both students and faculty, joining AOTH is a great way to collaborate with your future colleagues, give back to the Edmonton community, and hone your leadership skills. 

Over the last 10+ years, we have raised tens of thousands of dollars for causes such as the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society, Basically Babies, Little Warriors, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Crystal Kids. This year, we are proud to partner again with The Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.
