Bench to Bedside Students Association

The UAlberta Bench to Bedside (B2B) Students' Association is a group of PhD, MD-PhD and MD-MSc students from the University of Alberta who are passionate about translational research. Often, clinicians and scientists exist within their own silos. Clinician-scientists serve to bridge the gap, but finding people with the ability to translate between the two groups can be rare. There is a serious need for a culture change that encourages clinicians and scientists to reach across the aisle and share findings. Our goal is to bring medical and graduate trainees together to communicate and collaborate, carrying this culture with us to our careers as physicians and scientists.
