SACH (South Asian Community Health) aims to engage the South Asian community to improve health literacy through providing general information on common social and health issues that are prevalent in the community. As a minority community, South Asians struggle to access culturally informed care in the appropriate language they speak. As a result, health care access is often delayed and they present at later stages of disease. We aim to increase literacy of preventative healthcare and resources that community members can access for care. We also aim to engage community stakeholders in conversation about providing culturally informed care to the South Asian community.
