Greetings doctors-to-be!

Welcome to the Women in Medicine and Surgery (WIMS) Club! This is Jamie, Joanna, and Cindy, and we are the club leaders of WIMS for this year.

This club aims to boost representation for female physicians from diverse fields of practice who have taken on the roles of leaders, innovators, and advocates within their respective communities. Events planned for this year include workshops, panel sessions, mixers, and other networking opportunities, aimed to connect all students with a variety of experienced mentors. We strive to stimulate discussions focused on current systemic issues such as gender-related wage gaps, female under-representation in certain specialties, barriers to inclusive work environments, and challenges balancing personal and professional responsibilities.
