Pathology and Lab Medicine Club

Our club aims to promote Lab Medicine and Pathology by facilitating events that will help students engage with faculty in the field and enhance student knowledge of Pathology beyond what is covered in the pre-clerkship curriculum. We hope to help students understand the role that pathologists play as part of the healthcare team.

Throughout the year we will have several events that will help students get a sense of what goes on behind the scenes in the black box that is the lab! These will include lab tours, lunch talks, and the Pathology Mixer, where students will get the chance to meet and mingle with Pathology staff and residents and find out how awesome their work-life balance is! New this year is to provide students with unique opportunities to shadow pathologists through a newly set-up shadow base.
