Literary Interest Group

The Literary Interest Club (LIC) is a book and article group for busy people! We choose books and interesting articles about current events and/or medicine, and share them with each other. Book club features will include popular reads like 'When breath becomes air' by Paul Kalanithi, 'The House of God' by Samuel Shem, and 'Being Mortal' by Atul Gawande, while article topics range from healthcare to world news and beyond.

We hope to encourage and assist you in carving out time to read during your hectic year, as well as keep you informed with current events across Canada and the world. As a casual book and article club, we leave the amount of commitment up to you: participate as much as you have time for - we're just happy to see you!
