Clinical Neurosciences Club

We are the Clinical Neurosciences Club and we’re here to share our passion for all things neuroscience, from the level of neurons and glia all the way to higher-order processes such as cognition and consciousness. Our goal is to connect you with the resources to learn more about clinical neuroscience. Our club encompasses the specializations of Adult Neurology, Pediatric Neurology, and Neurosurgery. Over the course of the year, you can expect lunch talks to introduce you to the Neurology and Neurosurgery specialties, study & skills sessions during Neuro Block, and some neuroscience themed social events. We’ll also help connect you with shadowing and research opportunities as they arise. In addition, we hope to provide in-hospital opportunities to see neurology and its associated disciplines in practice, including tours of the Gamma Knife Surgical Residence and meeting neurology patients on the wards.

“If a man has lost a leg or an eye, he knows he has lost a leg or an eye; but if he has lost a self—himself—he cannot know it, because he is no longer there to know it.” - Oliver Sacks

“The brain is a wonderful organ; it starts working from the moment you get up in the morning, and does not stop until you walk into your OSCE. - Robert Frost” - Us
