You can access the CIL Online Portal from the CIL homepage. The direct link is: https://uab.ca/cil.
You sign in using your CCID and password.
You can edit your profile at any time. If your expected convocation date changes, please notify us of your new date at cil@ualberta.ca.
The online portal is claim-based, which means you are responsible to make claims for components of the CIL that you have completed. We will not know that you have completed a requirement, unless you make a claim. Once you make a claim, the CIL office will review your claim and either approve it, ask for more information, or deny it. Please review the instructions on the CIL website to ensure your claims are submitted correctly. (NOTE: Click on the links in the left and right navigation bars to access additional pages).
Claims for eligible CIL courses do not need to be made in the CIL portal. Once your final grade is released in Bear Tracks, it will be synchronized in the CIL portal.
You may unsubmit claims that have not been approved to make changes or add attachments. Remember to click the “Submit” button again after you have made the necessary changes.
You can send notes along with your claims in the correspondence box at the bottom.
