METHOD OF EVALUATION
Students will be evaluated by a final examination worth 100% of the final grade; however, each student will also have the option of reducing the value of their final examination by writing up to five quizzes during the term. Each quiz will be worth 5% of the final grade. So, for example, if a student writes all five quizzes, that student’s final exam will be worth 75%; if a student writes only three quizzes, that student’s final exam will be worth 85%.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course examines the civil litigation process, including the framework of civil litigation and civil litigation strategies. This examination is conducted with reference to Alberta’s Rules of Court, with consideration given both to the intention / purpose of the rules and to their practical application.
