NIVAN -
MONDAY - Discovered the snap rings for the bottom base plate kept coming off. The wouldn't stay properly to the pegs of the rails. We are currently researching ways to fix this issue. We also created a revised code that we have request Mr.Rojas to upload for us to the Arduino.
TUESDAY - We are going to try and use different side panels for the scissor lift and requested that Mr. Rojas print them for us. We made adjustment to make sure the motor doesn't move by using different screws and using tape to keep it in place.
WEDNESDAY - Tried to ensure the the scizzor lift can raise itself upwards. Additionally, we worked to complete out sign and slide for the Academy showcase.

MONDAY - Nivan worked on testing the project as a whole, when he did he found out that the snap rings at the bottom kept coming off of the model, so what we might have to do is sand down the hole to expose more of the peg instert for the snap ring can have a better grasp on the peg itself
TUESDAY - Requested diiferent side panels for the project and worked to make sure the motor doesn't move
WEDNESDAY - Continued to work on the scizzor lift and see what may be causing some of it's core issues. We also completed our slide and sign for the Academy Showcase.

The sign developed for our project and that will be presented during the academy showcase. The creation of this sign is apart of the Present Solution phase of the engineering process.
The slide was developed for our project and will be shown in the Academy Showcase as apart of a slide show featuring the different products. The creation of this sign is apart of the Present Solution phase of the engineering process.
This is the Paraplegic Staircase Assist with the new side panels. The purpose of these side panels was to provide made it easier for the snap rings to attach to the pegs of the rails and help the scissor lift raise itself up. This would fall under the Construct and Test phase of the engineering process as we a creating new solutions to try and fix the issues with out project. However, due to us also comparing the differences and benefits of the two different types of side panels, the blue panels compared to the grey ones, this would fall under the Evaluate Solutions phase as well.
Goals for Week 18:

Work on any retakes nessesary for the class
Help clean up and put away any materials that need to be given back to Mr.Rojas or the Academy
