WEEK 10

NIVAN -

MONDAY - Reviewed code and schematics for Bluetooth LED design before physical assembly and app development

TUESDAY - Started working on the development of the app

WEDNESDAY - Worked on developing prototype app for Bluetooth LED app

THURSDAY - Created basic code for Arduino that will be used in Bluetooth LED app

FRIDAY - Absent (Field Trip)

HEATHER -

MONDAY - I looked up some videos to give me more of an idea how to connect the Bluetooth with Arduino

TUESDAY - started to make the app from looking at refrence photos and videos

WEDNESDAY - finished making a prototype app for the testing of the Bluetooth module

THURSDAY - uploaded code to see if the Bluetooth module works with the app, tried to connect Nivan's phone that has the companion app but we didn't have any wifi connection. He has an old phone that we are going to use for the project.

FRIDAY - Tried to figure out what was wrong with the set up that we made to test out the Bluetooth module, at least what should have happened was the light on the module should have went on, I couldn't figure it out.

Here is the refrence photo that I found. This would fall under the construct and test part of the design process since that we are trying to figure out how to make all of the components work together

Goals for Week 11:

Have a functional prototype app completed by end of week
This app will, most likely, not be the final product but will give us a baseline for what still needs to be done with the project.
Complete the physical build
Test Voice control
Optional: Paint components to have matching color scheme

Work on creating the final app for the project
Test the final physical build
Create Voice control instructions
Prepare a device to be used for showcase
