To get a better idea of how we can go about with making the final project, we wanted to use Fusion 360 to help with that.
This is the model that I’m creating, it’s very basic. The rectangle is the platform. The 2 square pillars are the rails/ sides that the platform is going to go up and down. This is what it's supposed to look like, but it doesn't function properly, I’m not sure if I did the joints right. The pillar on the right moves like the why that I want it to move. But the one on the left doesn’t move like I want it to. I did all of the same limit measurements for the first one. My teammate Nivan was willing to help me with Fusion 360. He came you with an idea to solve the issue. So he made a little bar that he connected with a rigid joint, then instead of 2 slider joints. There is only one and it moves like I want it to.
I worked on a model for our project, this is called a scissor lift and we can use this for an idea to move the platform
I worked on a model for our project, a servo motor. Since that we are going to have electrical components, I thought that it would be a good idea to model a servo motor.

This whole week I was researching on how to model a standard pulley system but then I found that correct model on the last day of the week which was Friday, I was so mad at myself like why couldn’t I find the earlier.
This is the finished version of the prototype that we are going to be making and improving on.
