Sidrah Khan
Sidrah is a native north Texan. She spent her childhood in the Richardson area and now lives nearby with her husband and two daughters. She attended Texas Woman’s University in the fall of 2011, she was awarded her Bachelor of Science in May of 2015 and master’s in chemistry in December 2016. Sidrah thesis was based off her research in Dr. Kohan lab which explored platinum based anti-cancer drugs using Raman Spectroscopy. Prior to graduating with her master's, Sidrah started working at the Environmental Protection Agency at the Dallas office as a life scientist. After a few years working in the Dallas office Sidrah moved to EPA headquarters in Washington D.C. to support TSCA legislation. Currently Sidrah has returned to the Dallas office and support FIFRA legislation. She was recently recognized for her work during COVID pandemic. Sidrah enjoys baking and being in the outdoors as much as possible.
