Teaching a flipped classroom lesson taught me how to teach lessons in a condensed, concise manner in an online platform that is both informative and interactive despite not being in a in-person setting.
This flipped lesson video demonstrates my competence of the Teaching Standard for Communication and Instructional Strategies because it shows my understanding about engaging students in an interactive way to create opportunities for deeper learning and it shows how incorporate my knowledge of different types of learners and how I accommodate them with my teaching strategies.
The flipped lesson video will help you as a teacher by making me a more flexible and versatile educator, able to adapt to the circumstances of both in-person and online teaching and students benefits by having their lesson be engaging, teaching them the basics of the concepts on their own time which frees up in-person class time to be used to answer questions and refine their understanding of the concepts taught asynchronously.
This lesson demonstrates my ability as a educator to communicate clearly and accurately, using differentiation to cater to a diverse variety of learning styles, to develop deeper understanding of the content.
