Standards:
TTESS Dimension 1.2 Data and Assessment. The teacher uses formal and informal methods to measure student progress, then manages and analyzes student data to inform instruction.
TTESS Dimension 2.5 Monitor and Adjust. The teacher formally and informally collects, analyzes and uses student progress data and makes needed lesson adjustments.
INTASC Standard #6: Assessment. The teacher understands and uses multiple methods of assessment to engage learners in their own growth, to monitor learner progress, and to guide the teacher’s and learner’s decision making.
Standard Interpretation:
The teacher will measure student progress and analyze data to better dictate instruction, making necessary adjustments according to data and using multiple forms of assessment to refine and track learners' understanding and dictate teacher/student decisions.
This Bloom's Taxonomy Rubric shows different levels of understanding content to meet TEKS standards §117.208.c.2.A. and §117.208.c.3.F. and their subsequent degrees of mastery. This demonstrates a form of measurement to gage student progress and chart data to dictate instruction.
