About Me

Hello! My name is Micaela Tello. I am a graduate from Texas Woman's University. I graduated with my B.M. in Music Education in December of 2023. 

I have a passion for teaching music and a heart for children. I grew up surrounded by music at a young age with an opera singer for a parent. However, it wasn't until high school that I started to independently nurture and refine my own ability and passion to sing and make music. 

The defining moment behind why I chose music education was due to the opportunity I had to give vocal lessons at Crownover Middle School. This allowed me to see the behind scenes work that went into being a choral director and cultivated a passion for teaching students to sing simultaneously. I was hooked. The rest is history.
