Business Admin and Management

The world of business is constantly on the move, evolving with new technologies and revolutionizing as more free-thinking entrepreneurs step onto the playing field. Studying business not only involves studying individuals, communities, and organizations, it also involves assessing their needs and problems and generating solutions. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that employment of business and finance occupations is expected to increase 10% from 2016 to 2026, which is higher than the average for all fields of work. The BLS further predicts that more than 773,000 new jobs in business will be added during this time.

To meet the need of this growing field, the Township of Union Public School District is excited to offer a Business Administration and Management Academy (BAM) program of study for our high school students. The purpose of this pathway is to provide our students with a solid foundation in the core functions of Business with the intention of preparing them for post-secondary college and career endeavors, as well as increasing their marketability in the very competitive business industry.
