Dear Academy Student,

Congratulations! We are delighted to welcome you to Academies, an innovative program for incoming freshmen designed to inject relevance and engagement into learning. You are about to take the first step of a life-changing journey in a chosen path based on your interests. Our current Academies offerings include Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), Government, Law, and Public Policy (GLP2), Business Administration and Management (BAM), and Visual/Creative Arts and Performance (VCAP). As a member of one of the preceding Academies, you will be assigned a Academy liaison who specializes in your chosen path. Your liaison will provide you with guidance and support to ensure you are staying on track and meeting your goals. 

This year, in addition to your core academic courses, you may be enrolled in an elective specific to your Academy. Additionally, once a marking period, you will have the opportunity to attend a seminar and engage with guest speakers in your particular field. 

Before the start of school, you should receive an email from your Academy liaison.  

Again, welcome! You are now officially a member of the Academy community. We look forward to working and learning alongside you.
