This checklist will assist you in making sure you stay on track with Academies.
Marking Period 1
Meetings/Communication
Attend Your Beginning of the Year Cohort Meeting (Your Liaison will be in touch about this).
Join your Cohort’s Google Classroom.
Decide on an endorsement you will pursue, if any.
Find out who your school counselor is and how to contact them. Great idea - send them a friendly email introducing yourself!
If you are struggling with your coursework or any other topics, reach out to your school counselor and/or liaison ASAP to find out how to get assistance.
Events
If pursuing an endorsement, be sure you are on track with attendance at your Academy Events.
Be sure you (1) sign in, (2) are on-time, (3) attentive and respectful, (4) complete the follow up survey sent to you by your liaison.

Review the endorsement requirements and determine if you are “on track”.
Touch base with your liaison and your school counselor regarding your progress in your classes, even if it is good!

Review the endorsement requirements and determine if you are “on track”.
Review your Academy Course Sheet. Meet with your liaison to discuss your career goals/interests and begin planning elective choices for the next school year.
Meet with your school counselor to finalize your schedule requests.
Touch base with your liaison and your school counselor regarding your progress in your classes, even if it is good!

Review the endorsement requirements and determine if you are “on track”.
Touch base with your liaison and your school counselor regarding your progress in your classes, even if it is good!
Return your Academic Probation form, if required.
Complete the End of Year Academy Survey.
