Mrs. Brubaker is entering her 12th year as a History teacher; she taught in Plainfield for eight years and this will be her fourth year at Union High School.  She received her Masters Degree in Education and Bachelors in History from Rutgers University. She teaches History classes and AP US Government & Politics class at Union High School.  She likes keeping up with laws and politics and is looking forward to sharing her knowledge, contacts and experience with students interested in a career in government, law or politics. In her spare time, she owns her own Irish dancing business and enjoys teaching Irish dance.

Mr. Sukovich is entering his 13th year as a math teacher at Union High School having taught all levels of mathematics, from Algebra 1 all the way up to AP Calculus.  Mr. Sukovich earned his Associates Degree in Education from Union County College in 2008, his Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from Bloomfield College in 2011, and most recently earned his Masters Degree in Administration from Montclair State University in 2021.  In addition to this, Mr. Sukovich is the director of finance for his wife’s yoga studio and counseling business.  He is looking forward to helping students on their business journey, whether they are interested in entering an established company or if their ultimate goal is owning their own business!

Mrs. White is entering her tenth year at Union High School as a creative Geometry, Honors Geometry and Honors Pre-Calculus teacher.  Mrs. White achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Wagner College.  After working as a tax accountant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, she furthered her studies by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Brooklyn College and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Kean University.  Outside of the classroom, Mrs. White is the UHS Title 1 Coordinator, certified new teacher mentor, and a valuable member of the Mathematics Curriculum Writing team.  Mrs. White is excited to continue her third year in her role as STEM Academy Liaison. She thoroughly enjoys supporting students on their academic journeys and bringing in successful leaders in the STEM field to share their experiences, network, and shed light on different career paths!

Mrs. Hannon is going into her sixteenth year as a teacher in the performing arts program at UHS and is the Music Director and Producer for the UHSPAC. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Culture & Communication from New York University as well as a Master’s degree in School Counseling, SAC certification, and Supervisor certification from Kean University. She is a proponent of an empathic and collaborative learning process that strengthens community and prepares students to be thoughtful and resilient leaders in their field. At home, Mrs. Hannon’s favorite pastime is chasing around her toddler, Aislyn.
