Hello first grade families!

Welcome to our first grade website! My name is Mrs. York and I am so excited to have YOU in my class this year!

First grade is a wonderful year for the students.  I am looking forward to watching your child grow!  I believe that you and I are a team working together to help your child develop emotionally and academically.  You are the most important person in your child’s life and you are also a teacher in your child’s life.  I know if we work together and communicate, your child will have a very successful year!

On Tuesday, August 4th we will have Orientation! The first session will be from 11am-1pm. The second session will be from 4pm-6pm. Both sessions will be identical. Please bring your child's school supplies with you to orientation, if it is possible. Please see the section below for our school supply list.

On our classroom website, you will find important dates and information about upcoming events in our classroom. You will also be able to learn about the content that your child is currently learning.
