Dear First Grade Families!
Hello October!
October is a busy month and we have just finished the first nine weeks.
First grade will be going to the Orlando Science Center Tuesday, November 11. All forms and money are due by October 22. The cost for students to go is $45 and includes admission, lunch, and transportation. The cost for chaperones is $35 and includes admission and lunch.
The 50th day of school is Friday, October 17 and we will celebrate that day by learning all about the number 50 and compare life in the 50's to now. Students are invited to dress up in 50's attire. Some ideas are white shirt, leggings, leather jacket, scarves or a poodle skirt. If students choose not to dress up, they will need to wear their school uniform. Athletic shoes are required.
